Tuning Forks
(Vibrational Medicine)

Over the last 5 years, I have become very fond of using sound in my treatment sessions - and with much success, I may add. The use of tuning forks has greatly impacted the effectiveness of my work. Because sound travels deeply in the body, accessing those hard-to-reach places (affecting muscle AND bone). Bones are hollow and have a high water concentration, making them resonant chambers. Sound waves travel extremely well through water. And since the body is anywhere between 70-75% water, it is an excellent conductor and resonator of sound. The non-invasive treatment allows me to effectively utilize the body's acupoints and meridian system helping my clients reach a deep state of relaxation and restoration.
While the tuning fork as we know it today was invented in the 18th century, many ancient civilizations, including the Egyptians, have recognized and used the potential healing properties of sound and vibration.
